    I also think a lot of people create a website thinking that is all the marketing they need, but underestimate the amount of active effort that is needed by a potential customer to visit it. Unless you are already a household name, a website really needs to be supported by some other marketing method in order to drive traffic towards it. Ideally a mailer, brochure, or targeted email that is well designed and reinforces the brand image of the company.
